The Virgin Islands' 101.3 ROE FM Adds Way Up with Angela Yee

Frederiksted, U.S. Virgin Islands – July 21, 2025 - HSR Communications’ 101.3 ROE FM (WEVI-FM), which serves the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, announced today the addition of Way Up with Angela Yee to the station’s weekday lineup, marking the first international affiliate for the Premiere Networks-syndicated program.  Launching today, July 21, the popular show joins the station in the weekday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET timeslot

Way Up with Angela Yee is Hip-Hop radio's most popular midday show.  Featuring iconic personality and Radio Hall of Famer Angela Yee, the fast-paced, listener-interactive program connects directly with listeners on the kinds of hot and timely topics in which she’s garnered trust over her decades on air -- from relationships to Hip-Hop and R&B, headline news topics, and overall culture, both in and out of the music industry. Originating from iHeartMedia New York’s Power 105.1 (WWPR-FM), the four-hour show airs on nearly 60 stations across the U.S.

"I’m so excited to make history with my girl Lima Roe, and to be syndicated in the Virgin Islands, which is one of my favorite places to visit,” said Angela Yee. “This collaboration is particularly meaningful for me because of my roots in the Caribbean and my love and respect for the culture and people.”

“We're excited to bring Way Up with Angela Yee to ROE FM for real talk, real vibes, and a real connection with our community,” said Halima S. Roebuck, owner of 101.3 ROE FM. “Let’s go Way Up together!”
