LOS ANGELES, June 26, 2024  – Premiere Networks and Bobby Bones, host of the hit national Country radio program The Bobby Bones Show, announced today the addition of “In The Vet’s Office” with Dr. Josie Horchak to Bones’ Nashville Podcast Network, effective immediately.

Each podcast episode, veterinarian Dr. Josie Horchak, sits down with her co-host Shannon Ella to answer questions she’s constantly hearing at the office -- What should I feed my dog? How do I potty train my puppy? Do I really need to brush my pet’s teeth? Dr. Josie helps listeners navigate pet ownership through sharing cases she’s seen in her 15+ year career as a veterinarian, answering listener calls, and giving her weekly “Paw & Order” list of things she would never do with her own pets. Dr. Josie has treated pets from the high rises of downtown Chicago to the pets of country stars in Nashville. Her ability to relate with owners has made her one of the most sought-after veterinarians in the country.

In each episode, Dr. Josie Horchak will be joined by a guest and their pet, including country musician MacKenzie Porter; wife of Dan & Shay’s Dan Smyers and animal rescue advocate Abby Smyers; pet psychic Carrie Kenady and more. Watch the “In The Vet’s Office” trailer HERE.

In the first episode, MacKenzie Porter details her dog Willa’s nearly fatal GI issues that Dr. Josie Horchak treated and helped resolve. “I remember waking up that morning being like I think she’s going to die,” said Porter, who went on to detail Willa’s long road to recovery. “Thank you for being my person I get to text and be like ‘is this ok with my dog, like is this normal? What should I do?’ You’ve been amazing,” said Porter.

Executive produced by Bones, “In The Vet’s Office” debuts today on the Nashville Podcast Network with weekly episodes available Wednesdays on iHeartRadio and everywhere podcasts are heard.

“Everywhere I go, from the grocery store to the hair salon, when people find out I’m a vet they have questions for me about their pets.” said Horchak. “This podcast is meant to share insight from one dog mom, who just so happens to have a degree, to another. I’m thrilled to join Bobby Bones’ Nashville Podcast Network to educate and entertain animal owners out there with the cases I’ve experienced over 15+ years as a vet.”

“Dr. Josie has been my dogs’ veterinarian for years,” said Bones. “Through getting to know her over the course of many visits to the clinic with Stanley and Eller, it was obvious she needed a show of her own to share the plethora of unique and entertaining stories from her time in practice, including treating the pets of many country stars here in Nashville.”
