Cody Alan and Runaway June Host Virtual Holiday Party for Children's Hospitals Nationwide via Seacrest Studios

LOS ANGELES, December 10, 2020 – Award-winning radio and CMT personality Cody Alan and critically-acclaimed female country trio Runaway June hosted a virtual holiday party for children’s hospitals across the country.  Spearheaded by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and hosted by the Seacrest Studios team at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, young patients and their families were treated to an interview with Runaway June, in addition to a live performance of their current single, “We Were Rich,” and songs from their new Christmas EP, When I Think About Christmas, including “Let It Snow.” Participating Seacrest Studio locations included Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt (Nashville), Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Boston Children’s, Children’s Hospital Colorado, CHOC Children’s (Orange County) and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The virtual event will be featured during Home for the Holidays with CMT’s Cody Alana four-hour, barter-free radio special featuring conversations with Country music stars, including Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Maren Morris and others, who will share stories of Christmas memories, favorite gifts and family traditions, along with a mix of holiday-themed songs. Additionally, highlights will air on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown on December 19 and 20at 9/8c.
