The Herd Podcast Network Launches Cowboys-Focused Show - "The 'Boys and Girl Podcast”

--The NFL Network’s Jane Slater and Bobby Belt to Host --

LOS ANGELES, October 23, 2019 – FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Networks, announced today the launch of a new Dallas Cowboys-focused podcast The ‘Boys and Girl Podcast, available now on The Herd Podcast Network.

The ‘Boys and Girl Podcast is hosted by Dallas-based NFL Network reporter Jane Slater and NFL Network field producer Bobby Belt. The duo discusses the biggest stories surrounding the Dallas Cowboys, with exclusive insider access and opinions.  They also welcome current Cowboys, legends from the past, and other team insiders.

New episodes of The ‘Boys and Girl Podcast will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout football season, with episodes continuing in the off-season.

“As a Dallas native who reports on the Cowboys daily, I’ve found there is no offseason - the appetite for more content is as strong as Ezekiel Elliott’s desire to be fed on the field,” shared Slater. “When Colin Cowherd approached me about this podcast, it was a no brainer. My producer, Bobby Belt and I talk this beat 24/7 and we’re excited to share those conversations with the fans.”

The Herd Podcast Network is part of the FOX Sports Radio Podcast Network, which amassed more than 11 million podcast listens in September 2019, a new record for the network.

Slater will continue to serve as an NFL Network reporter, where she can be seen on such shows as NFL Total Access, NFL Now and NFL GameDay Morning. She also hosts Inside The Huddle at the House of Blues on TXA21 in Dallas. Prior to joining NFL Network in 2016, she was an anchor and sideline reporter for ESPN’s Longhorn Network, and also covered the College World Series and college football bowl games for the SEC Network and ESPN. Slater previously worked for KTVT CBS 11, KRLD News Radio, WFAA Ch. 8, and 105.3 The Fan in the Dallas region. She majored in both Journalism and Government at the University of Texas at Austin.

In addition to producing for NFL Network, Belt hosts the weekly radio show Cowboys Cast and previously served as the Cowboys gameday reporter for SB Nation Radio.
