The Herd with Colin Cowherd Reaches 100th Affiliate Milestone

LOS ANGELES, July 18, 2016 – FOX Sports Radio, a division of Premiere Networks, is pleased to announce that The Herd with Colin Cowherd has reached the 100th affiliate milestone.  Among the program’s recent affiliate additions are: WINZ-AM/Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood, FL; KHHO-AM/Seattle; KGME-AM/Phoenix; KLSD-AM/San Diego; KDSP-AM/Denver; WHBO-AM/Tampa-St. Petersburg; KFXX-AM/Portland; KRLV-AM/Las Vegas; WYGM-AM/Orlando; and KLGO-AM and KTXX-FM/Austin.

Year to year, The Herd has driven audience gains of +135% on flagship station AM 570 LA Sports/KLAC (Source: Nielsen Audio, JUN’16 vs JUN’15, PPM, MF9A12N, AQH Percent Change, A25-54).  The Herd also ranks No. 1 among sports podcasts on iHeartRadio, and listening hours for the show’s 24/7 iHeartRadio channel The Herd totaled 1.1 million in June alone.  Additionally, The Herd podcasts on iTunes, including the “Best of The Herd” and “Full Show” offerings, continue to be incredibly popular, consistently ranking atop the Sports & Recreation category.

In comparison to its previous simulcast on ESPNU last year, The Herd’s audience increased by 24% since its September 8 debut on FS1.  Also noteworthy, The Herd’s average audience is 43% greater than The Mike Francesa Show’s average audience in the same timeslot on FS1.  Clips of The Herd drew 126 million video views over the show’s first nine months via Facebook, YouTube, FOXSports.com, the live-streaming FOX Sports Go app and Twitter video player.

Combining compelling conversation and unique perspective with Cowherd and Herdline News host Kristine Leahy, The Herd, which airs daily from 12:00-3:00 PM ET, includes interviews with entertainers and newsmakers from across the spectrum of sports and pop culture.
