FOX Sports Radio's LaVar Arrington Inducted Into College Football Hall of Fame

LOS ANGELES, December 8, 2022 - On Tuesday night, December 6, The induction ceremony took place during the National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame’s 64th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Arrington was recognized for his career at Penn State, where he was one of the nation’s top players as an All-Big-Ten selection; a two-time All-American, including a consensus selection in 1999; the Dick Butkus Award winner and Lambert Award winner as the nation’s top linebacker in 1999; and the Chuck Bednarik Award winner as the nation’s top defensive player in 1999, among other honors. 

On Saturday, December 3, Arrington and fellow 2022 Hall of Famers Mark Messner, Mike Doss and Moe Gardner were also honored on-field during the 2022 Big Ten Football Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Below is a photo.

A former Penn State All-American Linebacker, Arrington was the #2 pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. The three-time Pro Bowler played for the Washington Football Team from 2000 to 2005. He later joined the New York Giants before retiring in 2007.
