FOX Sports Radio Unveils 2016 Weekend Football Lineup

Former Vikings Running Back Robert Smith, Former Notre Dame Quarterback Brady Quinn and NFL Veteran Ephraim Salaam Join Weekend Football Lineup Featuring 47 Years of NFL Experience

FOX NFL Sunday Simulcast Returns with Lead in from FOX NFL Kickoff 

LOS ANGELES, September 8, 2016 – FOX Sports Radio (FSR) announced today its weekend lineup for the 2016 football season.  Beginning September 10 and 11, FSR will feature programming dedicated to both college and professional football, including game-day previews, analysis and interviews, hosted by a diverse ensemble of sports entertainment personalities, analysts and former players.

With a combined 47 years of NFL experience, five Pro Bowl appearances and a Super Bowl Champion, FOX Sports Radio’s 2016 weekend football lineup will serve as the ultimate destination for NFL fans. Among those joining the roster is two-time Pro Bowl Vikings Running Back Robert Smith.  The former Ohio State star will team up with FSR personality and FS1 host Ryan Field for a Sunday afternoon program airing from 1 - 5 p.m. ET, providing football fans with the most informative, up-to-the-second updates from all the games in play. 

Former Notre Dame/NFL Quarterback and FOX Sports analyst Brady Quinn returns for a second season with FSR.  The former first round draft pick will be joined by FSR personality Brian Noe on Sunday evenings from 8 - 11 p.m. ET, giving listeners a comprehensive look at the weekend in both college and professional football.  Plus, NFC Champion, 13-year NFL veteran and FS1 Analyst Ephraim Salaam will join FSR and FS1 host Mike Hill on Sundays from 5 - 8 p.m. ET for an action-packed, personality-loaded tour of every NFL game.

In addition, long-time FSR duo Andy Furman and Mike North move their FOX Sports Daybreak program to Sunday mornings from 6 - 9 a.m. ET, providing listeners with the most-lively NFL pre-game show on the radio dial.

FOX NFL Sunday, America’s No.1 NFL pregame show featuring hosts Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Strahan and Curt Menefee, will return home to FSR on Sundays at 12 p.m. ET.  Also returning is the FOX NFL Kickoff simulcast on Sundays at 11 a.m. ET.  The hour-long program is hosted by Charissa Thompson and features analysts including FOX Sports Radio’s Colin Cowherd, Dave Wannstedt and Charles Tillman.
