FOX Sports Radio Posts Digital Audience Gains

LOS ANGELES, October 8, 2019 – FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Networks, today reported audience growth across several digital platforms, including podcasts, streaming and www.FOXSportsRadio.com, for September and August 2019. 
 
FSR set a new record for total monthly podcast listens in September, reaching more than 11 million monthly listens. It’s the third record-breaking month in a row, with total podcast listens growing nearly 60% since January. (Source: Megaphone September 2019).  
 
With football season officially kicking off last month, The Herd Podcast Network’s football-themed 3 and Out with John Middlekauff reached a milestone of one million monthly podcast listens in September, and the sports betting-focused Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell podcast doubled its audience since July.  September also marked the launch of a new iHeartRadio Original Podcast, The Fifth Hour with Ben Maller, a twice-weekly program focused on football and betting.    
 
Additionally, FSR experienced its third-highest streaming audience in the history of the network; the streaming numbers grew +8% year-to-year in August 2019, a 25% increase over 2017.  Plus, monthly page views for www.FOXSportsRadio.com reached an all-time high in September with 193% year-over-year growth.
