FOX Sports Radio Launches iHeartRadio Original Podcast – “I Want Your Flex”
Mike Harmon and Dan Beyer Host Official FOX Sports Radio Fantasy Football Podcast
LOS ANGELES, September 8, 2020 – FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Sports Network, announced today the launch of a new iHeartRadio original podcast, “I Want Your Flex,” distributed by the iHeartPodcast Network.
“I Want Your Flex” is a fantasy football-themed podcast hosted by FSR personalities Mike Harmon and Dan Beyer. Serving as FSR’s official fantasy football podcast, the duo will provide sports fans with a comprehensive preview of the week in games, including must starts, must sits, and all the flexes that are an absolute must to pick up.
“I Want Your Flex” launched today, September 8, and will be available Tuesday and Friday mornings on iHeartRadio and everywhere podcasts are heard.
“The 2020 offseason has been orchestrated like no other campaign in our history,” said Harmon. “Utilizing our years of experience and a wealth of contacts, Dan and I will do the work, breaking down each unit and matchup to find value and create proper perspective. And we'll bring the rankings. Lots of rankings! Admit it - you're singing ‘I Want Your Flex’ right now.”
“I’m super excited to be a part of this podcast, as fantasy football may be one of the few normal things we can count on in 2020,” said Beyer. “I can't wait to partner with Mike, who has one of the better minds in the fantasy world, and I look forward to sharing the roller coaster ride that is fantasy football with all of our listeners.”
“For years, Mike and Dan provided outstanding fantasy football coverage to hundreds of radio stations around the country,” said Scott Shapiro, Vice President of Sports Programming for FOX Sports Radio. “We love that they can now ‘flex’ their muscles in the podcast space. They do a ton of homework and will make listeners smarter – at least those who have an interest in winning their leagues!”
Since 2014, Mike Harmon has served as co-host of FSR’s “The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon,” which broadcasts weekdays from 10 p.m. – 2 a.m. ET on 400 stations nationwide. He also hosts a two-hour Sunday morning show on FSR from 9 – 11 a.m. ET with three-time pro bowler LaVar Arrington. From 2006 - 2014, he served as a columnist and analyst for FOX Sports, covering MLB and Fantasy Football for the network. Prior to that, he spent seven years covering fantasy sports for Yahoo! Sports.
Dan Beyer is FSR’s Managing News Editor, and can be heard weekdays on The Doug Gottlieb Show, which broadcasts on the network from 3 – 6 p.m. ET and can be heard on more than 220 stations nationwide.
